General Conduct and Attitude

First and foremost, being a friendly community is at the forefront of priorities here. Other forums might let you act like a jerk and be mean and nasty as long as you're not breaking any of their rules, but it's not like that here. I can't control how anyone has to feel for other members or other things, but having a rude or nasty attitude with anyone isn't allowed. If you're going to be unkind, spiteful, disrespectful, etc., then you'll find that you won't be here for too long. This can even be attributed as a form of trolling (that is, disrupting the peace and harmony of the forums).

It doesn't even need to go said that you should treat everyone you handle with respect. If you can't handle respecting them, don't handle them at all. Basically, it's as simple as "play nice, or don't play at all".

Flaming

Flaming is basically attacking another member (insulting, calling them names, etc.). Given the above rule, naturally, this is something that will absolutely not be tolerated. I want to clarify that it doesn't matter who it targets. If a targets a single person, a group of people, or everyone, it's still flaming. Indirect flaming won't be tolerated either.

Derogatory Remarks and Conduct

Discrimination based upon age, gender, religion, beliefs, or opinion aren't tolerated. I guess the prohibition of harassment (in any way, shape, or form) is what this covers.

Spam and Useless Posts

Spam posts (Stupid, Pointless, Annoying, Messages) are exactly what the letters stand for. It's an post with little to no point. Blunt and really short posts usually constitute as spam. Forum Games also fall under this, and they aren't allowed (staff members occasionally do "Hurt and Heal" games). This is a message board and not instant messaging, so keep it to discussion and not chat.

Inappropriate Content

Discussion of the following is not allowed.

A. Pornography and other sexual or explicit content- This is absolutely not allowed. There's to be no nudity at all. Indecent exposure and/or posture aren't permitted either. The staff will be the judges on this. It doesn't matter if it's full or slight, real or art. Nothing of the sorts is allowed. This doesn't refer only to images either. Remarks and comments are also under this category.

B. Alcohol and drugs- Excessive references to and/or discussion of these are not allowed.

C. Killing- Excessive or extreme references to this is not allowed.

D. Illegal material- Stuff such as software piracy, downloading software illegally, requesting software illegally, or aiding in helping others do any of that, is not allowed. Torrents and file sharing (such as peer to peer) fall under this category too, since 99% of the time, probably more, it's used for illegal purposes. We don't care what you do off the forums, and you're not going to be punished here for what you do off the forums, but keep it off the forums.

Additions and Changes

As always, these are subject to change at any time. Although if it's a major revision or a completely new addition then we'll probably notify it in making an announcement, but you should periodically check over this, especially if the last update (listed in the thread's title) was done after you read it.
